And The Winner Is....

The Monterey Institute of International Studies !!!

After months of tough competition the small graduate school from Monterey, California has risen to the top. Weighing in with a diverse relevant curriculum, practitioner philosophy of education, small professor to student ratios, merit scholarship offers, international business consulting opportunities, a strong close-knit global alumni network & a beautiful location the Monterey Institute successfully balanced their bid for my admission into their MBA program. At the end of the day, considering the courteous rejection offers of Tufts, South Carolina, Cal-Berkeley and Stanford, although time consuming and strenuous, did not compare to the Monterey Institute's offer of admission. To put it simply, the other 4 programs just didn't come prepared with a good enough offer for me to accept. Monterey's proposal bid was finally accepted with only a few issues that were successfully answered at a catered wine reception at a savvy downtown Washington, DC location. With that said I am pleased to enroll at the Monterey Institute effective June 16, 2008.

Starting this summer I will study the French language to satisfy the critical language component of the Monterey Institute's challenging coursework. In the fall I will begin the MBA program and later on decide if I will complete a double master in the field of International Environmental Policy.

Looking forward, we expect great things from this new partnership between The Buttons, the Monterey Institute and the West Coast at large.

love-
